DSV, the Danish transport and logistics company, has recently unveiled a significant partnership with Neom, the groundbreaking urban development in Saudi Arabia. The joint venture, valued at $10 billion, aims to provide comprehensive ground, sea, and air logistics services to support the growth and development of the Neom area.
Supporting Development and Growth
The collaboration between DSV and Neom will offer end-to-end supply-chain management, as well as investments in transport and logistics assets, infrastructure, and the transportation and delivery of goods within Neom. By leveraging their expertise in logistics, both companies hope to contribute to the ongoing progress of this ambitious project.
Joint Venture Structure
In this partnership, Neom will own a majority stake of 51%, with DSV holding the remaining 49%. This balance ensures a collaborative approach while allowing Neom to retain control over key decisions.
Economic Impact and Job Opportunities
The introduction of this joint venture is expected to have a substantial impact on the Saudi economy. Through infrastructure development and job creation, the venture has the potential to generate over 20,000 employment opportunities. Moreover, it is anticipated that Neom will experience unprecedented demand for construction logistics until December 31, 2031, followed by sustained growth in non-construction logistics.

To successfully establish the joint venture, a gross investment of $10 billion is estimated. Both DSV and Neom are fully committed to funding their respective pro-rata shares to ensure the project's financial success.
